About Us

Spotlight on Learning is an educational technology consulting company that offers services and products that enable schools and school districts to optimize the use of technology. Spotlight on Learning was founded by John Laskarzewski and Lauri Susi, both have been educational technology teachers, instructional leaders, classroom teachers and university instructors.

With over fifty combined years of experience in education, John and Lauri provide presentations, tools and collaborations that reflect their diverse experiences in planning, implementing and assessing the use of technology in educational settings. They are the creators of the "Circle of Support" model of technology implementation in education.

Their diverse backgrounds (John in math and science and Lauri in special education) provide a broad base of knowledge. They work in collaborative learning and teaching environments facilitating the use of technology for a broad spectrum of students. They have conducted dozens of staff development workshops that integrate a variety of software into the PreK-12 curricula and they created a series of database tools for teachers and administrators that assist in managing educational tasks and information.
